The Apolo story
From GPU infrastructure for regulated buyers to the Industrial Agent Platform.
Apolo was founded in 2019 by machine learning engineers. The engineering culture moved with the team — operator-minded, low-drama, ship-what-works.
Founded by ML engineers
Founded by people who had spent years building ML solutions at scale. First product: GPU infrastructure MLOps layer for teams who needed to keep workloads off public cloud.
Early adoption
Adopted by ML teams across Eastern Europe. Grew from three founders to 20+ engineers. First major deployment with a sovereign telco operating one of the region's largest data center footprints.
Relocation
After Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the team relocated operations to the US and EU. Business continuity stayed intact. Customers kept shipping.
VC funding
The seed round led by PGV and SWSF.
Industrial Agent Platform
Launched the Apolo AI Launchpad, the catalog of pre-built AI agents. In 2026, the category became the Industrial Agent Platform.
